HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?
Online booking is available through our website. We accept email/instagram inquiries if you have any further questions regarding our services and/or appointment requests. We will try our best to accommodate your requests in a timely manner.
For new clients, a 50% nonrefundable deposit to miyabeautysalon@gmail.com is required to complete your booking
Am i suitable for the services?
Yes! We offer a range of services to meet your lash and brow needs.
You may NOT be suitable for our nano brow semipermanent makeup service if :
- Under the age of 18 years old

Pregnant or breastfeeding
-
Currently on Accutane or have been within the year
-
On retin-A or retinals (refrain from using 30 days before procedure)
-
Prone to keloid scarring
-
Diabetic (consult your family doctor)

Undergoing chemotherapy
-
Have HIV/hepatitus or other viral infections/diseases
-
Previous semi-permanent brow work done (please contact Miyabeauty for assessment)

How to prepare for my upcoming appointment
Please ensure you have read over the details of the appointment, booking/late policy, and acceptable payment methods for our studio.

Lash extension/Lash Lift/Brow lamination :
​

Ensure there is no makeup or oil based products around the lashes/brows
-
Aftercare requires avoiding water/steam for 24-48 hours after procedure

Nano brows :
​
-
Please fill out the medical intake form prior to your appointment
-
Do NOT drink alcohol or caffeine 24 hours prior
-
Do not take advil or other blood thinners 72 hours prior (extra strength tylenol can be taken for pain management for the procedure - menstrual cycle can increase sensitivity)

Avoid injectables (filler/botox) 2 weeks before or after
-
No skin treatments (chemical peels/strong exfoliants/retinals, fish oil) that will thin out skin for 2 weeks prior

Aftercare requires avoiding water/steam for 72 hours after procedure

Are consultations free of charge?
Yes, consultations are free of charge! Consultations are normally done at the beginning of your scheduled appointment, however, if you have any additional questions, feel free to message us directly for a email/instagram message consultation.
For clients booking nano brows or foreign fills - those will be assessed on a case by case basis
How long will the appointment be?
Lash extension : ~1.5-2hrs (new set/foreign fills) , ~1-1.5hrs (existing client fills)
Korean lash lift/Brow laminations : ~1-1.5hrs
Nano brows : ~3.5hrs (new client) , ~2.5-3hrs (existing client touch up)
How long does it last?
Lash extension : routine fills of 2.5-3 weeks is required to maintain, 4+ week fills will be considered a new set
Korean lash lift : ~ 6-8 weeks
Brow laminations : ~3-4 weeks
Nano brows : annual touch ups recommended
What is the aftercare?
Eyelash Extension :​

Normal shedding is on average 2-5 natural lashes per day
-
Do not wet eye region for 48 hours & avoid steam after lash appointment
-
No gel/oil based eye products or makeup, no waterproof makeup/mascara
-
Clean your lashes daily with lash shampoo to remove dirt, makeup, oil build up that can effect the retention of the lash extensions (available for in-studio purchase)

Please do not fully submerge your lashes in pressured water

Lash Lift/brow lamination :
-
Do not wet region for 24 hours after lash appointment
Nano brows :
-
Do not wet the brows for 72 hours

Follow ointment aftercare as instructed

Do not pick/rub off scabs as the brows are in the healing process
